The past 3rd December we attended the Marketplace of ACCIÓ: Industry 4.0, for the logistics, distribution and e-commerce sector.
This session presents Industry 4.0 solutions applied to the logistics, distribution and e-commerce sectors, which are already available in Catalonia today, especially in SMEs, and mainly related to the following areas:
- Consulting services in digital transformation strategy, optimization methodologies and process digitization
- Automation, sensorization and digitization solutions for monitoring and control processes
- Industrial robotization solutions, collaborative or autonomous robotics
- Artificial intelligence and data analytics solutions to improve decision making
At IN2, we explained how we face digital transformation projects in the logistics sector and presented our success story SICAD RODADOS, implemented in the Port of Barcelona.
This system is in charge of controlling the stock of blocked goods in different terminals of the port. It allows the port authority and the terminal to have a more efficient management of all these goods, deal with incidents related to manifestos and maintain a faster and more fluid communication with customs.
